As a non-profit after school arts program, T.E.A.F. depends upon individual donations, corporate sponsors, and grant monies to keep our program operating and affordable for all of our students. Further, our program is dependent upon energetic and dedicated volunteers to teach classes, design curriculum, and mentor students.
Charitable foundations, corporations, and individual donors make up the difference between the nominal income collected from class tuition and our actual operating costs. All donations directly support the T.E.A.F. program by providing teacher stipends, curriculum, classroom materials, transportation, snacks, and, most importantly, scholarships. Our program provides classes for all students, regardless of ability to pay.
Where does your money go?
Specific examples of how your donation can help:
a donation of $35 pays for an 8-week term of one class for one student
$160 pays for one teacher stipend for one term of T.E.A.F.
$450 pays for one term's science curriculum for 15 students
$570 pays for one term of Northwest Children's Theatre's Drama Club for 15 students
How You Can Help
Volunteer to teach a TEAF class! Do you have a skill or passion that you would like to share with students? You can teach a T.E.A.F. class! We are always looking for new and exciting classes, particularly in the areas of STEM, the arts and athletics. Want to teach but not sure what? We have pre-designed classes that could use your help!
